I made my husband propose 3 times! First time, he got the location and the staging right, but I did not like the ring. The second time he got the right ring, but the rest of the proposal left much to be desired. Thankfully, the third time was a charm, he got everything right. We were dating/living together for over 15+ years, so it was surprising he had to work for it so hard :-).

You didn’t take the photo. That was probably the right decision of the time. The fact that you thought about it, the moment gave you pause to put on the “respect” brakes.
