The correlation between attitude and material wealth or what some might refer to as "lot in life" is not always as one might expect. Perhaps some of it has to do with the ability to build what a lot of people nowadays refer to as resiliency. Great website! I had the opportunity to live in South Africa for two years as a missionary. Coming from idaho I had no idea what to expect. I was amazed to learn as I interacted with people in the townships every day at how wonderful their attitudes are and how they were able to live a happy life despite their conditions compared to what I grew up with. Anyone who goes through Africa and does not spend time in the township has truly missed the heart and soul of the continent!
