What’s the name of the Italian restaurant you referenced? Would love to check it out!

Great to hear from you, Anna! Of course it’s no problem to use this in any of your courses. I remembered being tortured by writing and editing this as I struggled to balance the narration/feel with the “prompt” or message. But, this piece reads really well, to this day. And, it reminds me to take our own advice sometime soon and grab a map and a direction! Hope all is well!

The combination of description and narration is so well done that I am hoping to use it, with your permission, as a text for my college composition course. I also love the “prompt” “So grab a map. Choose a direction. Go. See what you find. Open yourself up.” It would make a great writing prompt for their first paper. Thank you, Audrey and Daniel, for sharing your adventures!

We have visited Poznan. We just haven’t written a post about our experience, at least yet.

Great post by the way!

Agree that one day is not enough time, but sometimes you have to make do with the time you have. This means we have more reasons to return to Szczecin 🙂

Our philharmonic hall won the prestigeous Mies van der Rohe award. One day is not enough to get the whole picture.

Alexandra, we saw on Instagram the sad news that you missed your flight!! Oh no! So perhaps the idea is to break down limitations…but maybe with a cushion of time for when the unexpected happens 🙂

It’s so true that we set up limitations in our own heads. I do this all the time. Of course, last time I broke down one of these limitations we ended up missing our plane…
