In reply to Anna Esquivel. Great to hear from you, Anna! Of course it's no problem to use this in any of your courses. I remembered being tortured by writing and editing this as I struggled to balance the narration/feel with the "prompt" or message. But, this piece reads really well, to this day. And, it reminds me to take our own advice sometime soon and grab a map and a direction! Hope all is well!

What a beautiful reflection on space and place. The combination of description and narration is so well done that I am hoping to use it, with your permission, as a text for my college composition course. I also love the “prompt” “So grab a map. Choose a direction. Go. See what you find. Open yourself up.” It would make a great writing prompt for their first paper. Thank you, Audrey and Daniel, for sharing your adventures!

Szczecin has great coffee and there’s more to see than the Red Line suggests. Our philharmonic hall won the prestigeous Mies van der Rohe award. One day is not enough to get the whole picture.
